• Is It My Mistake Or My Solicitors Mistake?

    It has come to my attention that my freehold property has two registered titles. When I purchased the property the seller only signed one transfer deed. Should my solicitor have known there were two?

    If the registered titles are in your name, you purchased both the titles under one deed of transfer. What is the problem then? You got what you bought!

    no, that's the point, I've not purchased both titles as there was only one on the deed of transfer. now the previous freeholder wants more money to transfer the other title. what do I do?
