• Section 38 Bond

    Our solicitor has contacted our lender to say that there is no section 38 in place. The valuer has advised a full retention.

    I have received proof from our developer that he has paid a bond to the council, so should this allow us to complete on the house purchase? This is the only thing that is holding us back

    A bond alone is not sufficient protection and is normally in place to secure a section 38 or similar agreement. You need to know what is in place to ensure adoption of the road
