• Part Of Title Not Covered By Registered Charge?

    Part of our title, which includes a barn with planning permission to convert to a 2 bed holiday let is not covered by the current lenders registered charge but sits in the property title plan.

    Questions
    - can I remortgage the part not covered by the register charge with or without notifying current lender.
    - should we split title, then mortgage - I assume after placing easements on new title / existing title for rights of access, services etc
