• What Should Title Deeds Contain?

By Guest on 13th Sep 2020

My property was first registered in 1995. My title register contains nothing other than basic details/property address & mortgage.

From sarching the Register of Deeds, the previous owners deeds states:
ALL that messuage or dwellinghouse and garden with the rights easements and appurtenances thereto belonging situate TOGETHER with and subject to but with the benefit of an arrangement regarding drainage.

If I go back to 1927 it refers to a conveyance of the land which also mentions the above section.

Should this information have been added to my title register by the land registry?

My next door neighbours have rights over my property. Their title register states exactly the same as the above but mentions a conveyance was made in 1959.

In 1959 both properties were in common ownership but then sold separately by the same solicitor within a day of eachother.

I'm so confused why my title contains nothing? Is this normal please?

I would advise you instruct a professional conveyancer because it looks like they should have a look at your actual deeds before giving you an answer to this query.
