    I am buying a house and it has a RESTRICTION: No disposition of the registered estate by the proprietor of the registered estate is to be registered without a written consent signed by the proprietor for the time being of the Charge dated 25 October 2017 in favour of Santander UK PLC referred to in the Charges Register.
    What does this mean

    This is a standard mortgage restriction. It means you need Santander's consent to sell/gift/charge the property. In other words you can't give away or sell the property without repaying their mortgage.
