• Restriction Removal

    i have purchased a house and the previous owners were tenants in common and had a restriction on the title. when my title deeds have come through the restriction relating to the previous tenants is still in place. Land Registry say this is not an error. Why would this have not been removed? What should I be doing to get this removed? Does this mean I am unable to sell the house until this is removed (it states that any proceeds from the sale should be divided between the previous owners). Has the solicitor who dealt with the conveyancing been negligent in not getting this removed?
