• Residents' Management Company: Is It Not For Profit?

By Guest on 15th May 2023

Hello. We live in a small development of 13 properties and have a Residents' Management Company that oversees the maintenance of our small joint sewerage plant as well as some landscaping maintenance within estate. The sewerage plant uses electricity to run the pumps and we all contribute towards the costs of this. We have to pay company rates for this electricity and I was wondering if we can be classed as a not for profit organisation and how we would go about changing our status. Ot would reduce the amount we would have to pay towards our running costs considerably. Thank you
