• Refusal To Sign TR1 Form.

By Guest on 25th May 2021

In 2013 I agreed to buy a freehold property from the owner. A contract was drawn up and and signed by both parties. Both parties names were registered with Land Registry as the legal proprietors. The buyer paid the agreed price over 2 years, the seller was allowed to live in the property during the payment period. The seller agreed to sign the TR1 from when the final payment was made in March 2015. The seller after being paid all the money refused to sign the TR1 form. The seller still lives in the property and has never paid a penny in rent as agreed in the contract if the seller stayed in the property. The seller still lives in the property now in 2021. What is the best way to get the sellers name off of the Land Registry register and the buyers name on the register as the sole proprietor? Can I make a court application to get a judge to sign the TR1 form?
