• One Deed On A Bungalow Divided Into 2

By Guest on 20th Feb 2023

We divided our bungalow into 2 separate semi detached properties, approved by the council under a CLU certificate of lawful use. Each half has separate name, council tax, utilities etc. Can we still get buildings insurance on the whole bungalow , in 2 names, and separate contents insurance?

    Additional question:
The original deed has a covenant with a neighbour saying only one dwelling house allowed on the land. The covenants from that neighbour does NOT refer to this. The bungalow was divided more than 20 years ago.

    Thank you
