• Historic Toilet Block On Neighbours Land

By Guest on 03rd Aug 2022

I am in a row of terraces - with a right of way over the back of the two others for taking bins out etc . . The end terrace has a historic carriageway (now their drive) and on the deeds show a toilet block, one toilet that belonged to my house . When these neighbours moved in 27 years ago these toilets had already been demolished and a garage put in their place ( assumed for the sole use of no 37 (this end property) - the title deeds were never changed. I and my adjoining neighbour who also has a toilet blocks in deeds have no j retreat in using this tiny parcel of land and never have- as it’s been a garage for so many years we have just ignored it (but still used the right of way access). My new buyers solicitor wants the deeds changed but for some reason no 37 the end house will not sign to change anything (even though he benefits). What can I do? It never bothered me when I purchased as I just considered it a historic matter that was not relevant now but my buyers solicitors are pushing to change something that has now been in place for 30 years mud presumambly?
