• 2 Titles On Flat

    Good evening, we own a flat which we originally bought as 50percent shared ownership, a few years later we then bought the remaining shares so now own 100percent of the leasehold. We are in the process of selling and our buyers solicitor is refusing to proceed as their are two titles both in our name for the property, one registered with our initial 50 percent share and then another when we purchased the rest. this title states title absolute. They claim it will be illegal to proceed with two titles and these need to be merged. My solicitor states this is not the case and shouldn’t cause any issue at all. Has anyone dealt with anything similar or have any advice please?
