    Hi,
Four of us (my Wife & two sons have a share in a propperty (my wife & I 30% each & my sons 20% each. One of my sons want to sell the shares to my wife & I. What would be the process for this as he would be removed from the registry?

Option 1 (Do It Yourself) - You would need to fill out a Form TR1 to update the Land Registry and send it in to them with Form AP1 and also an ID1 for each of you. The ID1 form needs to be signed before a solicitor, notary, licensed conveyancer or similar. Prices vary but about £100 each would be quite reasonable. If there is a trust you would then need to update the trust accordingly.

Option 2 (Hire a Conveyancer) - The conveyancer will do all of the above for you. Prices vary but about £300 to do everything above (other than the deed of trust update, if there is one) would be quite reasonable.
