• Land Registry Form Submission By Purchaser Acting Alone

By Guest on 06th Apr 2022

I am buying out my half share in my late/ex-wives home as they have now died. The house was only in her name but half is mine under our divorce settlement. The solicitor acting for his estate have accepted an offer from me and I am paying cash, need no searches or enquiries as I have known the house for 20 years and been managing the tenants who have just vacated. I have completed a TR1 but there was a restriction on the title against disposition by a sole proprietor. The solicitors have created a trust and the Land Registry tell me that there needs to be forms RX3 and ST5 submitted.
As I understand only a TR1, RX3 and ST5 are needed by HMRL? Is this correct? If so should the solicitors complete and supply me with the RX3 and ST5 to be submitted by me to HMLR or would they do that themselves directly? Thank you in advance.
