• Converted Property Registration

By Guest on 02nd Sep 2020

We've recently had our property converted from a large single house into two smaller dwellings. To do this we received planning permission and arranged for one side of the property to be completely renovated and re-built. The 'new build' has got separate utilities and a new address that's been registered with. We'll be moving into the new side of the property, however I'm unsure about the process required when dealing with Land Registry. I understand we'll need to register the new dwelling, with a site plan, but wonder what we'll need to do about the new layout of the 'old' house that has also received a change to it's land layout.

You do not need to update the Land Registry when you convert a property.
