• Right Of Access And Egress

    We own a freehold private car park for our 12 apartments. There is a right of way across our car park for our neighborhood to access his student car park.

    There is a large hatched area on our title deed originally made so large because the council originally had access to use the area for a utility turning circle.
    The car park was handed over as a private car park for us back in 1984 and permission was given to erect a barrier so the large turning circle was no longer needed.
    There appears no hatched area on our neighbours deeds just a right of access across our car park.
    He is claiming that he is entitled to use the whole of the hatched area on our deeds.....is he correct or do we just need to allow him access with no specific area defined?
