    This seems to be an extract from a deed of easement (an easement is a right that a piece of land benefits from over another piece of land). What this extract says is that the person who is granting the right (the Grantor) promises to the person who benefits from the right to maintain the pump and the apparatus connected to the pump.

    So, there is a pump (drainage pump? electric well?) on the Grantor's land and the owner of the Grantee's land has a right to use it, and the Grantor is obliged to maintain the pump
