Right of access is for repairs and services ONLY

As long as I allow access for repairs and services, am I legally allowed to put a gate across my drive to stop further unauthorised
    access by my neighbours?

    Hi,

This is a right specifically for inspecting and maintaining any buildings on the neighbour's land. The exercise of the right be reasonable proportionate, i.e. it would not generally be reasonable to inspect and maintain daily or even weekly unless the situation genuinely called for it. You can put up a gate as long as it would not prevent access by your neighbour in an emergency
