• Indemnity Policy Wanted For Freehold Issues

By Guest on 05th Nov 2017

I am selling a leasehold flat, and have been asked to pay for an indemnity policy for the fact that the buyers solicitors have found the building block was built on contaminated land back in 1983 and a original NHBC or planning needs to be produced. As leaseholder I don't have this, and have only had the flat for 13years. Is it my responsibility to pay this?
Also been asked to pay for indemnity policy for new windows put in by the freeholder (they are responsible for external repairs) because a certificate is required for works done. Am I responsible for this and do I have to pay?
