hi, we are in the process of selling our house. we have no cosent from the county council and its unlikely they will due to the length of the drive.
we were advised to contact the council which did. now the buyers solictor has said a policy would be acceptable. could someone suggest a policy. but now we here that because we have contacted the council a policy wouldnt be allowed? how could this be as we didnt know consent wasnt there? and now we do know?
of someone suggest a insurance company who will still provide a policy.

Normally contacting the council would invalidate the policy, but if the buyer are happy to proceed as long as a policy is in place then it sounds like your best option is just to get one!

You can call Express Insure on 03333 122 221 for an indemnity policy. You will need the address of the property, its "title number" and the level of indemnity you require.

My solicitors still saying that we can’t is it worth ringing and asking? Surely there is someone will provide even if the council now know? And the premiums would just be higher?
