    Shared ownership sub leaseholder trying to sell but Head leaseholder (Housing association ) is at risk of forfeiture

    It would be unusual for a Housing Association's lease to be forfeited (i.e. where they are tenant).

    In general terms if a headlease is forfeited the sub-tenant becomes direct tenant of the freeholder (assuming no other intermediate leases, to keep it simple) providing that their lease was not itself in breach, i.e. granted in absence of consent from the freeholder.
