• Deed Of Variation On A Freehold Property With Service Charge, Trying To Sell

By Guest on 04th Jul 2022

We're trying to sell our property which is freehold with a service charge for the area ground maintenance. We've been told that we have to add a deed of variation which is going to cost us £2,600. Is this right? We don't feel we should have to pay this, when questioned we were told it should've been done by the original solicitors when we bought the property in 2014 but we went with the developers recommended solicitors back then. This maintenance company have caused nothing but issues and we've already spent £400 on them in this potential move.
