We’re a newly established RTM and have just had the first LPE1 form through re sale of one of the flats. In regards to costs pertaining to Notice of Assignment and Deed of Covenant, should we ask those questions of
the Landlord or should we pass that back to the seller’s solicitor to do?
I’ve read that the Landlord has 30 days to raise objections before we can give ‘permissions’(no idea what this means!) so can I not send the form back for 30 days?
Finding this all quite stressfully!! Thanks in advance.

You can put "Don't know - ask Landlord" on the LPE1 if it is a cost charged by the landlord not yourselves and you are not aware of what he will charge. Or you could ask the landlord and put the answer down. The buyer's lawyer will ask the landlord separately for any further information they require.

Thankyou, that’s great. So, do I have to wait 30 days before sending the form back or can I send it back once I’ve filled it in? If the Landlord raises an objection, is it down to the seller and solicitors to sort?
