• Buying A Timber Framed House With Cavity Wall Insulation

By Guest on 15th Nov 2016

I would like to buy a property but the cavity wall insulation needs to be removed as it is timber framed and potential damage to the structure can not be serveyed until it is removed, Could I write up something to have an offer excepted on the basis that the vendor removes the insulation and subject to the survey post removal?

Making an offer to purchase the property and having it accepted does not legally bind you to buy or the seller to sell (assuming the property is in England or Wales). The issue you are talking about really needs to be resolved before exchange of contracts, when the deal does become binding
