• Land Registry Costs

    I am looking at purchasing a house that has been divided in to 2 x flats. It currently has 2 x postal addresses. Could you explain what I would have to do in terms of land registry to convert this to 1 x dwelling.

    I am going to have to get the property rewired etc as there are 2 x meters for Gas/Electric. Would I have to get the meters of one of the flats removed, would I actually have to get that meter capped?

    Other than rewiring etc, we will have to remove 1 x stud wall and take a kitchen out. Are there any building regulations etc that I need to consider?
