Have you applied for the mortgage or has it actually started? If the latter then you are almost.certainly already joint owners. If the former, you'll need to instruct a solicitor (your lender.will insist) and.he will deal with it for you

I had a mortgage on my own we then changed it to a joint one on another offer with the same lender but my partners name has not been put on the land registry what should I do should the lender have done this

Most lenders will insist that all parties to the mortgage are joint legal owners and vice versa so there may have been a mistake. There are some lenders that will allow it, HSBC / First Direct being the main one. Speak to your lender and ask if it was their understanding.that your partner should be a joint owner.

Adding Partner To Land Registry: Due poor professional advice 16 years ago my wife's name never got on the land registry. Is a TR1 or a TP1 that I need and what is the fee, both forms seem totally irrelevant? No mortgage the house is paid off.
