We would need some more details. Indemnity insurance is obtained in respect of a specific legal risk such as a defect in the title or lack of planning consent for example. What is the issue with your property?

It's for lack of building regulations. I had my windows replaced in 2007 and apparently they weren't Fensa registered.

Then yes I would expect you to have to provide indemnity insurance. Your solicitor can arrange it for you
