• Deed Of Easement

By Guest on 25th Apr 2017

I have a piece of land to sell and the access has been agreed by way of a deed of easement with the land owner. The piece of land has been used as an access for over 55 years unchallenged. The land owner registered the land as a village green in 1968. The access will not damage any new land and is as stated and existing access. I have taken legal opinion and that has stated the deed of easement allows lawful passing over the land by me with a vehicle etc. However my buyer's lawyer has asked if we can arrange a legal indemnity policy as belt and braces.
