• Central Heating Working Order?

    By Guest on 31st Jan 2016

    After selling a house the purchaser intimated that some of the radiators had cold spots on them. This was intimated within 5 days of entry in line with Scottish Standard Clauses. The buyer then drained the system before my heating engineer could investigate. I suppose I have 2 questions;
    1. If some of the radiators were heating up all over and some have cold spots, is the system in working order?
    2. By draining the system (to prevent potential frost damage as the house was unoccupied) and not allowing me to investigate am I now absolved of any responsibility to rectify?
    Thanks

    I'm afraid this site doesn't deal with Scottish law
