• Ground Floor Flat, But On Deeds Is Says First Floor Flat. ,

We are in process of selling our flat but solicitor says land registry has it as first floor flat when in fact it is ground floor, could this be a big problem or can land registry confirm from lease and address of flat that it in fact ground floor? Is this going to be very complicated? Thanks

Drop an email to HM Land Registry with a copy of the lease and ask them to rectify the register. If the lease is wrong, then you'd need a deed of variation to rectify the lease. Your conveyancer will advise you on this.

Thank you for reply, we asked our notary but she wasn't very helpful, she didn't know how it could be resolved, but we thought it couldn't be that much of a problem, so thank you again for clearing up for us ????
