Thank you for your interest in our service. This page will give you some more information about how the service works and what you get for your money as well as, most importantly, how to sign up, which hopefully after reading this you'll be happy to do!

How does Housesforsale work?

It really is quite simple. Just e-mail us with photographs of your property and a short description (the sort of thing you would see on an estate agent's advert). Tell us the number of bedrooms, the asking price, the address as you want it to appear in the advert and the type of property it is (detached, terraced, flat etc), and we'll do the rest.

What you get

Properties are listed first by county and are then separated by price, number of bedrooms, town/city and type. Your main picture (usually of the exterior) will be placed in the appropriate section together with your description. Have a look at the listings pages by clicking here to see what we mean. As well as your main picture you can provide additional pictures and even an additional description. If you do then users will be able to click on your advert and be directed to a page dedicated to your property.

We will also of course add whatever contact details you wish to your advert. This could be your telephone number, mobile number e-mail address or all of these.

Cost and invoicing

The cost of your advert, whether or not you have a dedicated page, is a one off fee of just £5. This entitles you to have your advert on our site until it is sold or until you ask us to remove it. Once we have prepared and uploaded your advert we will (by e-mail) provide you with the link so that you can view it together with our invoice.

Methods of payment

Payment must be made by PayPal (which can be used even if you don't have a PayPal account).

Additional Feature – Top Listings

You will note that the left or right hand columns of each page contain “top listings”. These are properties which appear on every page (as well as on the usual listings pages), which of course means they receive much greater exposure than standard listings. You can, subject to availability, make your property a top listing. The additional fee for this is £2.50 per week (invoiced on the 1^st of the month). If you want to take advantage of this additional feature just let us know when ordering your advert.

Getting started

Hopefully by now you will have decided to give our service a try. If so then send us an e-mail to : housesforsale@freeconveyancingadvice.co.uk with the address of your property, a short description, the number of bedrooms, asking price, property type, the contact details you wish to place in your advert and whether you want to purchase a “Top Listing”. We'll do the rest and e-mail you a link to your advert once it's ready!
