• Can I View A Deed Of Gift From 1920

By Guest on 31st Jan 2019

A local property in our village was handed to trustees in August 1920 for the use of the villagers. The current trustees are running it into the ground and so I am looking to find out how we can see the details of the deed and challenge them.

Purchase a copy from HM Land Registry if it is recorded on the register, otherwise you'd need to ask the villagers/trustees for a copy. The trustees should likely have a copy.

Thanks for previous answer - Land Registry don't have anything and the trustees are not sharing details with us... fun times..
