• Title Rent

We have sold our property but the purchasers solicitor has brought up the title rent charges in the title deeds. This hasn't been collected for over 97 years - as quoted in the title deeds: The land in this title is with other land unknown subject to a title rent of £1.2s.6d a fee farm rent of 14s.1d and a Pier Rare o £1.14.6d which were created by a deed of unknown date and parties and are mentioned in the conveyance dated 19 July 1921 referred to above. No other particulars of the said rents were supplied on first registration. If someone comes along after all this time are we or the purchasers obliged to pay?
