• Unregistered Land - Land Charges Search

By Guest on 02nd Mar 2017

Hi, I carried out a land charges search for an unregistered property against the names of the previous owners. An entry against one of the companies was revealed; a d2 and d3 charge, i obtained a copy of the document referred therein and the document contains the equitable easements and restrictive covenants which were imposed by an earlier conveyance a copy of which I have. Is there anything else I would need to do to protect my client? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

Quite simply, no, there's nothing further you need to be concerned with in relation to these entries, which exist to put purchasers on notice of the easements and covenants to which they relate.
