We have a restrictive covenant in our deeds. We knew nothing of this. It says we are not allowed to change the appearance of the property. We have had replacement windows and the buyer solicitor is saying that thisis a breach of that covenant. The deed is dated 1979. It has never been challenged. The previous owner had also put replacement windows in and not been challenged. It is an ex council house.
