• Building Regultions Indemnity Insurance, Following Payment Of Building Control Inspection Fee

By Guest on 11th Aug 2016

Hi, I am in the process of selling my property and needing to arrange building regulations indemnity insurance to cover a permitted development loft conversion that has not had building regs sign off. Will I be able to gain an indemnity policy even though:
    1. The work was completed less than 12 months ago
    2. I paid the council a building control inspection fee, although did not request a final inspection. In other words, the work has not been failed as no final inspection was undertaken - however, the council do have ok record that work was carried out or at least planned, as I paid the fee.

    Thanks
