• Our Conveyancing Solicitor Has Given The Wrong Price We Paid For Our House To Land Registry

By Guest on 03rd May 2016

We bought a house in 2006 for £189,000 but we've just discovered that the price actually listed on the land registry is only £145. I have been in touch with the Land Registry to try and change it but they have told me to contact my solicitor. As we bought the house from a housing developer and pretty sure we used his solicitor for the purchase, does it mean there is a bit of foul play here? And would trying to change it have subsequence to the said Housing Developer?
