• Deed Of Covenant

    I am currently in the process of selling my housemand have been told by my solicitor that it is necessary for my purchaser to enter into a Deed of covenant with the origonal builders Bloor Homes to obtain a Certificate of Compliance to be produced to the Land Registry , I have been told that I have to p;ay for this, is this correct .

    Yes, the buyer would normally pay for the deed of covenant required to complete the transfer (though there is nothing in law to say they must pay).
