    can land registry be made on my 2 year old child in a trust with both parents as trustee?

    no.
    you are trustees and the names in the labd registry are thise of the trustees

    Just to clarify the above, a person under 18 years of age cannot be a legal owner of a property but can hold a beneficial interest, so you could hold the property on trust for your child. You should take professional advice on the best way to set up the trust. You need to think about what happens when your child reaches the age of 18, what might happen if the relationship between the parents breaks down and what tax implications there might be, amongst possibly other things
