    No but you can purchase as a company and have the company's name recorded if you wish. Having said that, one could just look up the company if it's a UK company but if you registered ownership with a company registered in the Bahamas or similar perhaps you could avoid your name being easily traced... Alternatively, if you have valid reasons (e.g. reasonable grounds to fear violence) you may wish to consult a solicitor to see if you could apply to court for the name to be hidden on such grounds. Alternatively you could have a family member own the property instead of you (so their name is shown) and then enter into a deed of trust with them so they own the property for your benefit (although they will be the legal owners).
