• TR1 Or TP1?

By Guest on 02nd May 2019

I and my ex own a flat leasehold share of freehold. The freehold is joint with the downstairs flat. We are transferring the deeds into just my name and understand we need to do this for both the leasehold and the freehold. Should it be TR1 or TP1 for both? And would an ID1 be needed both for my ex and for the downstairs neighbor? Many thanks

TR1 and yes and ID1 is required for all signatories if you're doing it yourself. We recommend using a conveyancer.

Thank you for your reply. I am using my new lenders solicitor. I am a bit confused about whether they are acting for me or just processing me - I’m certainly paying them a lot of money! I assume that TR1 and ID1 is correct if your doing via a solicitor / conveyancer too? Thanks again for your responses. Josie
